first_img Carlos Tevez Paris Saint-Germain are lining up a summer move for former Manchester United and Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez – which could open the door to a swap deal for Edinson Cavani.Tevez, 31, hit 20 goals in 32 Serie A outings last term as well as seven in 12 in the Champions League.That form has attracted the interest of clubs across Europe, with Tevez’s compatriot Diego Simeone, the manager of Atletico Madrid, keen on doing a deal to sign him.However, according to reports in Spain, the La Liga club will face strong competition to land him from within France, with quadruple winners PSG also in the race.And it has been suggested that the French champions could be open to a swap deal with Cavani moving to Turin in a part-exchange.The Uruguayan forward has been linked with a move away from the Parc des Princes, despite 18 Ligue 1 goals last term.Chelsea and Arsenal are reportedly keeping close tabs on Cavani’s situation but they might now miss out if a swap deal with Tevez is concluded.Argentina international Tevez has been at Juventus for two years since joining from Manchester City in 2013.
