He was pronounced dead at the scene. His passenger, 25-year-old Rachel Boerke of Huntington Station, was taken to Southside Hospital in Bay Shore for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.Third Squad detectives impounded the van, are continuing the investigation and ask anyone with information on the crash to call them at 631-854-8352.
